The Opp Rotary Club Scarecrow 5K Trail Run/Walk is just
around the corner. October 18, Lake Frank Jackson Park will host runners and walkers
of all ages, racing through the scarecrow-lined trails.
If you’d like to preregister, make sure to do so by October
10. Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt. To register, come by the library and
pick up an official entry form, or call Chuck Burgess at (334) 493-3501 if you
have any questions.
The Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a
Fun Run for children at the end of the Run/Walk, so bring the whole family out
for a morning with the scarecrows!
